All figures are as December 31, 2009.Dodge & Cox, located in San Francisco, California, is one of the largest privately owned investment advisors in the United States. Founded in 1930, it manages approximately $212.31 billion for individual and institutional investors in mutual funds and private accounts. T.Rowe Price, located in Baltimore, Maryland and founded in 1937, is one of the premier global investment management firms in the world. It manages more than $391 billion in assets for individuals, separate accounts and institutions. The Vanguard Group, Inc., headquartered in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, manages several of the Plan's investment options. Vanguard is one of the nation's largest no-load (no sales charge) mutual fund families and has a reputation of having among the lowest investment management fees in the industry. Vanguard manages more than $1.3 trillion dollars in assets. Harbor Capital Advisors, founded in 1983 and located in Toledo, Ohio, is the investment advisor for Harbor's family of 12 no-load mutual funds. They manage approximately $48.7 billion in assets for individuals and institutions. Cohen & Steers, located in New York City, is an industry leader with an experienced investment team focusing on REIT's, global real estate securities, preferred securities, utilities, value equities and other high-dividend paying common stocks. Founded in 1986 they manage more than $24.8 billion dollars in assets for individuals, institutions and separate accounts. Pimco, headquartered in Newport Beach, California, was founded in 1971 and has current assets under management of over $940 billion. Renowned for its bond management expertise, Pimco has also developed a range of innovative investment strategies in other asset classes including stocks, commodities and real estate. Oakmark funds are managed by Harris Asssociates L.P., founded in 1976 and based in Chicago, Illinois. Harris Associates manages separate accounts as well as the Oakmark Funds. The first Oakmark fund began in 1991 and Oakmark's assets under management total over $27 billion. The value investment philosophy is the driving force at Oakmark. They believe that investing in quality companies that are trading at a discount provides the most profit potential while reducing risk. The Dreyfus Corporation, established in 1951 is one of the nation's leading managers of investment products and strategies. Headquartered in New York City, the firm managers over $401 billion in fixed income assets. |
